A refreshing summer cocktail recipe

One of our favourite things about summer has got to be all the wildflowers in bloom, we take care to harvest Nootka Rose and Fireweed respectfully so they can continue to flourish, and while gathering these for some of our products, we also set some aside to add to cocktails and baking year 'round. Flowers are a natural way to add vibrant colours and beauty to drinks and food.

Re-purpose your candle jars into beautiful artisan drink vessels and try this easy to make, refreshing gin cocktail for a delicate drink that is perfect for sipping in the summer sun.

Wildflower Gin Fizz

  • Ice
  • 1/2 can of Straight and Narrow Gin Cocktail
  • 2 oz rosé
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz elderflower or sweet syrup
  • Lemon wedge, to garnish
  • Dried wildflowers, to garnish (*we used wild rose, fireweed, and pansies)

Pour elderflower and lemon juice in a shaker with ice and combine. Pour into ceramic mugs and top with chilled rosé. Garnish with lemon wedges and edible flowers and serve immediately.
